New York State of Mind

In July, Corey and I took a trip to New York City.  It was so nice to get away just the two of us.  It was my first NYC experience.  It was a lot of fun.  It was unseasonably hot for NYC and did require a lot of walking for a pregnant person but all in all it was a great trip. Thanks Mimi for watching Elle for us!

Our hotel was near Times Square.

Our first night we had dinner at Carmine's. It's a pretty popular Family Style Itailian Restaurant.
It was very good!

We visited the old FAO Schwartz Toy Store... Now Toy's R Us.  They have a Ferris wheel inside the store!

We had dessert at the Cake Boss Cafe.  We chose New York Cheesecake of course.

The next day we walked around to see the sights.

Rockefeller Center

At NBC Studios we saw "The Voice" chair. We took a tour at NBC studios in which we saw the sets for Jimmy Kimmel Live, Saturday Night Live, and The Brian Williams show but
they would not allow any pictures :(

Another view of Rockefeller Square.

5th Avenue

We had a yummy lunch at The Sea Grill at Rockefeller Center.

That night we got dressed up for a Broadway show.

This is the view from the sky bar on the roof of our hotel.

`
We saw the Newsies show.  It was great!

Afterwards we ate at Serendipity and had one of their famous frozen hot chocolates.

The next day we took a rooftop bus tour to see more sights.

Empire State Building

Bull from Wall Street.

Trump World Tower

ABC Studios

Times Square

The next night we took a night bus tour.  This is the Brooklyn Bridge.

Night sky line

Tower One (The new World Trade Center) is now the tallest building in NYC.

World Trade Center Memorial.  It's hard to tell but there is a big body of water behind Corey in this picture.

The Pier... Not sure what it was called.

One of the many parks that we saw... Not Central Park :(  Didn't get to see that.  Next time maybe!

Thanks for checking in with us.
