Dallas 2013

We are able to visit Dallas in July as well.  We try and go at least once a year.  We always have a good time.  It's great to get to shop and see old friends. It sure was HOT though!  I must be crazy because I decided that I wanted to take Elle to the Dallas Zoo at 7 months pregnant!  It was worth it though.  She had a blast!

Her absolute favorite animal was the Gorilla that she saw :)

First horse ride for Elle.  We've attempted it before but she wouldn't do it.  This time she seemed to really like it!

We were able to feed the Giraffes.  It was by far my favorite part!

That night we went to Tillman's Roadhouse for dinner.  They are known for their S'mores so of course we had to try them!

The next day Daddy had to work a little so Elle was my breakfast date at La Madeline.  Yummo!

We were able to stay at the Gaylord Texan during our stay.  It is a great hotel.  They actually had a Shrek characters meet and greet.  Unfortunately, not on the days that we were there.

We were able to visit our friend Evone and her son Zeke!  

We enjoyed swimming in their pool.

Elle was so sweet with Zeke and played really well with him.

The Gaylord had such beautiful landscaping in their atrium.  I had to take some pictures of Elle.  Minnie made an appearance too. 

They had multiple train sets to look at.

Elle also got to go to Rainforest Cafe during our trip.  It was her first time.  We met my friend Paige there but unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of her with Elle :(

Then we took her to Lego Land.
