Blessed

I realize my previous blog was titled "It's been a little rough" and I feel as though that was very selfish of me to say.  Corey, Elle, and I have so many things to be thankful for.  There was a young family in our community that just experienced a terrible tragedy and I can't even imagine what they are going through.  It has definitely opened my eyes.  I am so blessed by my sweet husband and precious little girl.  I am so thankful that God chose them for me and I for them.  I cannot imagine life here on earth without them!!!

With that said, I have a lot of pictures to document for myself and for Elle.  I know I post a lot of pics of us but I do not want to forget a moment of our time together.  She is growing so fast and changing so much! Last weekend, we went to the McGarrah's Pumkin Patch and my brother and his family met us there.  It was so much fun!

Such a serious look... she was soaking it all in!

I rode this with her because I was scared to let her do it by herself.  I honestly think she would've been fine.  She did not seem scared at all!

"These are just my size."

That pumpkin was the biggest pumpkin I have ever seen (in person).

Elle was singing ABC's and pointing to the letters on that sign.

Here are some other funny pics of Elle!

She has a love/hate relationship with razorback face stickers!

Cooper and Elle playing before the Kentucky game.

Little drummer girl.

Another celebration that I want to mention is that Mimi is officially retired!  She is a big Hog fan so that cake was so appropriate! We're so happy for her and look forward to spending more time together!!!!

It's been a little rough

We've been busy the past couple of weeks therefore I am so behind on posting. First off, we've been trying to figure out what has been causing a rash that has been around Elle's mouth for the past 4 months.  It is red and bumpy and gets slightly better and then worse.  I could not figure out what was causing it.  It warranted 3 trips to the pediatrician and 2 different face creams.  They also recommended that we no longer give Elle acidic foods like berries, citrus, and tomatoes.  We tried that, and the rash still persisted.  So after speaking with a lot of other parents we decided to see an allergist to see if it was a food allergy.  The allergist went ahead and did a small panel on her back.

So they put my baby through this. The good news was they did not find any food that she is allergic to that they tested.  Yes, this is a negative result... I thought it looked terrible :(
Bad news, we still don't know for sure what is causing the rash.  So they recommended that we go to a dermatologist:

Here she is waiting to see the dermatologist.  A little Mickey Mouse Clubhouse always helps!
The dermatologist thinks it is a skin irritation, and she gave us another cream.
It seems to be helping some.

Corey has been traveling a lot lately so we've been without Dada 2 weeks in row!  We have been doing Google video chat with him.  Elle really liked seeing him on the computer!  Here she is "reading him a book."

We've been trying to support the Razorbacks even though they are definitely having a ROUGH season!

Here is Elle, Derby, and Dada in their Hog shirts. Didn't help :(

After the Alabama game, we went with Mimi and the Ford's to Monte Ne Chicken.  It was yummy!  Elle pretty much ate more than anyone else!  She LOVED it!

Anna liked it too!

Jack and Elle at an A&M game watch party.

Elle and Emma :)

Elle also started going to MDO for 2 days a week.  She seems to like it and tells me "bye bye" when we get there.  She has not been sleeping during nap time which has made for a cranky little girl when dinner time rolls around but we're trying to work through it.  She napped for 45 minutes on Monday so I'm hoping it becomes a trend.

Here she is with her big girl lunch box.

Silly girl on our way home from school!

Naked baby on the loose :)  She loves to go outside and play.

Just playing Joust on the Wii.  Don't let that sweet face fool you.  She's mean and has only lost once!  I'm not kidding.

Helping Dada shop at Home Depot.

***Some of my favorite things that I do not want to forget:

Elle keeps saying "What cha doing?"
She is found jumping on our bed probably 5 times a day!!!
She LOVES to color and play with chalk.
She can eat her weight in carrots!
Loves her Minnie Mouse!
She will climb into her highchair and say "Eat Tease (please)."
She runs around and dances everywhere.
Calls for Derby by trying to smack her lips and snapping her fingers.
Puts hair bows in her hair and runs to the mirror and says "pretty."

Video of her playing in the yard.
