A Girl's Best Friend!

My baby girl likes shoes just as much as her Momma does!  Recently she has REALLY liked her shoes so I decided to dedicate a post to one of our favorite things :)

Now she is constantly pulling shoes out of her closet and saying "SHOES" and trying to put them on by herself.

Quick update:  She is also saying Derby (sounds like Duhbi), MOMMA, and fish 

(for Goldfish crackers). 

Elle's first Baseball Game!

On Sunday, our friends Mike and Michelle Rice invited us to a Razorback baseball game.  They had box tickets so it was definitely the way to go!  Their daughter is 4 months older than Elle so they enjoyed playing together.  There was good company, food, drinks, and a warm place to watch the game.  It was an added bonus that the Hogs won!  It was a lot of fun!  We even had a special visit from Ribby, one of the Razorback mascots!

Elle made a friend with one of the college students that was also in the box.  She sat with her for probably 30 minutes.  She has now been added to the babysitter list!

Last Saturday Corey and I hosted a small couples shower and dinner for our good friends Ginger and Conrad Eberhard.  They are expecting their first baby girl, Gillian, on March 8th!  We cannot wait to meet her!!!  A lot of special babies are entering the world in March!  The theme of the shower was Tickled Pink. It was a lot of fun to plan this shower.  I'm really enjoying this party planning thing!  Here are some pics for the night.

Snow Day / Valentine's Day 2012

This is an update post... We have a lot to update on our little blog this last week.  We had our first (and probably only) Snow Day of 2012 and we were so excited!  Mainly because daddy bought Elle a snow suit on one of his business trips a few months ago.  He found it at REI, one of our favorite stores that we frequented when we lived in Dallas.  We were beginning to think she was not going to get to wear it then lo and behold we got 2-3 inches of snow.  It didn't last long, but we sure did have fun!!!

Our Valentine's Day 2012 was great!  Mimi drove over that day to visit and babysit Elle so that Corey and I could go to dinner that night.  We actually got to go on a date!!! It had been a while!  It was so nice to go to dinner together and it was SO YUMMY!!!  It was the best meal I have had in a while!  We went to Petit Bistro in Bentonville and we were treated so good!  It was a lot of fun!  

I also got 2 flower arrangement from Corey.  It's a long story but it worked for me!

Unfortunately this one is the only one that made it till today...5 days later.  I forgot to take a pic of the other one.  Sorry Babe :(
