We have recently received Elle's 6 month pictures from Amber Lanning Photography.  Amber is SO good at what she does!  We were so happy with the way the pics turned out!

Ferry Ride!

I have to document this....on our way home from the beach my husband sees a TOLL sign as we're getting out of Gulf Shores.  Of course leave it to my husband to try and find a short cut!  He decides to take it.  The traffic was really backed up and he was looking for the toll road to get back to the interstate. So we kept driving to find the road but the signs stopped appearing.  We kept driving and driving?!?  Finally, on the GPS a boat shows up!  I said to Corey, "you know something's not right when a boat shows up on the GPS!"  Yep, we had ran out of land and had to take a Ferry to get across the bay to Mobile.  We thought about turning around but then we thought... this will be fun!  So Elle had her first boat ride on a Ferry!

Thankfully, Elle really liked it!

Vacation!

Last week we were able to go the Orange Beach, Alabama with Corey's family.  I was a little worried about taking a 7 month old on such a long trip but Elle did GREAT (thanks to her new DVD player and her "Praise Baby" DVD)!  She enjoyed the beach so much and really enjoyed the pool!  I think we have a little fish on our hands.  She likes to kick and slap the water constantly!  I have a TON of pictures from our trip but I will only share my favorites! Everybody had a great time.  Thanks Mimi for a fun trip!  

One evening we were able to take some family "Beach" pictures.  It was definitely worth getting dressed up during our vacation.  Even Eston, our nephew, wore kakhi shorts which is something 

he does not like to do!

She's been really busy these days!

Elle has been really busy lately.  She's enjoying eating baby food.  Right now she likes carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans, peas, pears, and bananas.  She's not sure about apples and squash.

She's also been drinking out of a sippy cup!  She drinks Apple juice and water.

She's taking baths in the big tub!

She sat in a highchair at Panera.

She loves to people watch!  She's such a Ham.  She wants everyone to look at her!

She sat in a shopping cart for the first time.  It took me forever to figure out how to use that shopping cart cover.... I think I'm getting the hang of it now.

And wait for it....she is CRAWLING!!!! She started crawling on Monday morning.  Corey was suppose to fly out of town for business around 6:30 a.m. but had a delayed flight.  Since the airport is right down the road, he came home for a couple of hours to wait for the delay.  That is when she started to crawl!  I'm so glad daddy was home to watch her!  God must have wanted Corey to see it too!

We've also had some visitors.  Papa and Lena came to see us!  Well, they came to see my brother but we tagged along too!

We also had a play date with Emma and Jack!  Their mommies came too!  It is nice to chat baby talk with other mommies!
