Elle's Dedication

Elle was dedicated on November 20th at Fellowship Bible Church.  We've had many conflicts in which we've had to reschedule her dedication so we were so glad to finally dedicate our Elle Belle!

Family pic after the service.

We went to lunch at Carabba's after the service.  This is Aunt G, Cooper, and Uncle Bret with Elle.

Elle and mommy.  We're both squinting at the flash :)  I think she takes after her mom in that regard!

Someone is excited about lunch!

We had cake at our house after lunch.  I'm always looking for an excuse to get a Rick's cake!!!

Thanks everyone for coming to Elle's special day!

Congrats on your Retirement Papa!

Last week my dad's co-workers at Arkansas Northeastern College held a SURPRISE retirement reception for Papa.  My dad has been the controller at the Community College in Blytheville for 22 years and is now retiring.  He had no idea about the gathering and was super surprised.  We traveled to Blytheville to join in the fun!

This is when he walks in and sees everyone.

He sees his mother , Momo.

The president of the college speaks.

They purchased a brick with his name and years of service.  It will be used in an upcoming expansion.

His co-workers made a picture book for him and all signed it.

Very cute cake!

We give him another surprise!

Aunt K came to see us!

My cousin Kersten and her husband Nate came to see us this weekend.  Kersten is like a sister to me.  We've been close ever since I can remember.  Unfortunately we do not get to see each other as often as I'd like so I was really looking forward to her visit.  About 20 weeks ago she found out that she was expecting her first baby!  She had to wait two and a half years for this exciting news.  You can read more about the journey in her blog here:  http://hergethappenings.blogspot.com She has been so positive and strong through the entire process!  She has truly been an inspiration.  Needless to say we are ECSTATIC for her and Nate to be expecting a baby boy in March! Yay!!!!!!!

Elle enjoyed all the LOVE and KISSES her Aunt K gave her!

Elle also got to have her first Hibachi experience this weekend. Shoguns!  Yum!

Who hoo!

Aunt K, Elle, and I tailgating before the Razorback game.  Elle and I didn't feel real great so we decided  not to go to the game. The sickies went home to watch the game.

So glad you guys came to see us!!!

Finally! A Post!

I apologize that it has been so long since our last post!  We've been a little busy.
Just to catch you up to speed....

We celebrated Elle's first Halloween! In case you couldn't tell she is a baby lamb.  She doesn't look like a baby here!  She's growing up so fast! She has started to take steps!!!!  Only 5 or so and then she plops down on her bottom.  I'm excited but hate to see her grow so fast!

Derby was a trooper.  He walked door to door with us!

Her Halloween day outfit.  Her shirt says Daddy's under my spell.

So serious.

We went trick or treating with our friends and neighbors the Rices.  Here is Mike the farmer, Cate the cow, Elle the sheep, and Derby the scarecrow!

We went house to house in the new Radio Flyer wagon that Gigi got us! Thanks Gigi!  We love it!

This is the wagon after a few houses.  These girls ate their weight in Cheerios!

Our first house to visit was Ms. Melissa's house.

Corey and I got to go to our annual neighborhood costume party.
It was nice to have some grown up time!

I was not the only one who thought about going as a Go Go girl!

Corey's family came to help us with Elle and to celebrate Corey's birthday.

Elle and Anna giving each other hugs!

Then Corey got another cake on his actual birthday!

Happy Birthday Corey!  We love you!

At the Razorback Homecoming game my pledge class always tries to get together and tailgate.  It's always a lot of fun.  This is a pic of my pledge class with some of the current senior Tri-delts.

Girls from my pledge class that came.

Elle got to play with Jack

and Emma!

That's all for now!  Thanks for checking in with us!
