Summer, Summer, Summertime

And Summer is finally here!  Whoo hoo!

We started the Summer out with a trip to Silver Dollar City with our friends the Rices'.  Elle is friends with their daughter Cate.  We're pretty good friends with her parents too.

Elle rode quite a few rides!  She did really good riding without an adult with her.

Michelle and I were Twinkies that day :) It was unplanned of course!

Elle during the the Flooded Mine ride.  It's a boat ride and you shoot targets for points.
She liked it a lot!

Michelle filled in for me many of times during our visit since I'm pregnant and couldn't ride much! Or I guess I could have... I just didn't really feel like it :)

Elle had such a good time!  She was out before we could leave the parking lot!

Since it is officially Summer, Elle and I are spending a lot of time together at home.  I decided not to put her in school this Summer so that we could have this time together before the baby comes.  She is going to be such a good Big Sister.  Here she is playing with her Baby dolls.  She's getting a lot of practice!

Such a Big Girl!

Our neighborhood always has a pool opening party at the beginning of Summer.  It's always a good time. Here are Cate and Elle striking a pose in their matching chevrom suits at the pool party.

We also went to a fun neighborhood cookout.  A previous contestant from The Voice performed for us (if you look real closely you can see her in the background. It was a great time! Here is a ladies pic from that night!

Spring 2013 Part 2

We attended a mother and daughter Bliss cupcake decorating party at Little Giggles to celebrate Mother's Day. Bliss cupcakes are soo yummy so it was a big treat and a lot of fun!  We met our friends Hadley and Katie there.

For actual Mother's Day we went to Tulsa.  We ate at one of my favorite restaurants, Chuy's.

We also shopped at Utica Square.

We also went to Mountain Home to celebrate Eston's birthday.  Mimi bought the girls matching (somewhat) outfits so I had to take some pictures of them together.

The little girls wanted to play too :)

They were thirsty girls. A good time was had by all.

It's a Boy!

We found out that Baby Balentine # 2 is a boy on April, 29th.  I honestly thought it was a girl but was hoping for a little boy.  Either way I would have been happy.  Of course I cried like a baby and Corey was pretty excited too.  Our appointment was at 8:30 am so we dropped Elle off at school and headed to our appointment.  We were the first ones in and found out by 8:45.  Baby boy was very active during the ultrasound and cooperated well.  It was obvious that he is a boy if you know what I mean.  We then texted/called our family and friends.  It was a special morning.  When I picked Elle up at school that afternoon everyone cheered when I walked in.  I guess someone had spread the news that Elle was going to have a brother.

That evening we told Elle that is was a boy.  She kept saying no, girl but was really excited about a big blue balloon that we gave her.

I look forward to meeting our little guy and I just know that Elle will love him too.  She talks about him a lot and gives him (my belly) kisses daily.  The other night she prayed for him too.  We can't wait until he gets here!
