Celebrating

We've been doing a lot of celebrating around here.  I'm just now able to catch up with the blog posts.  The first celebration is bitter sweet.  The life of Ross Douglas.  Corey lost his childhood friend last month.  Ross had three children and had such a joy for life. Sadly, we are not sure how Ross passed but we know that he is with our Lord and Savior now and we will see him again.  We sure will miss seeing him in the meantime.

One of Corey's friends hosted a get together the evening of Ross' funeral.  Ross always enjoyed getting everyone together and was always the one who initiated that sort of thing.  I'm sure he enjoyed seeing everyone together.

Here are most of kids.

On a happier note, we also celebrated Papa and Lena getting married in Eureka Springs.  We're super happy for them!

The happy couple:

Rick's cake!  Yummy! With some weird sauce next to it???

Elle, Papa, and Cooper

Here we are at the Crescent Hotel.  Corey and I have a lot of good memories from this place because it is where Tri-Delt formal was held each year I was in college.  Since Corey and I started dating when I was a freshman, he was my date all 4 years! Also, the crescent happens to be one of our Tri-delt symbols!  So I had to take the opportunity and have a mini photo shoot of Elle.

Daddy's girl

Hello up there.....Can you see Corey?!

I'll repeat that statement....he has her heart :)  Daddy's girl!

We also celebrated our good friend Channing's second birthday at the Little Gym.  We've been going to the Little Gym for a few months and it's one of our favorites!  Cousin Eston was able to come to the party with us!

Ms. Alyssa and Elle :)

Eston is tall enough to get on the high bar!

The Birthday Girl!

And lastly, we celebrated the first Razorback game of the season.

Whooo Pig Sooie!

Elle checking out the new football facilities that are under reconstruction. Crazy detours!

Thank goodness for popcorn!  It made for a happy girl at least until half time!

Whew.. another long one.  I need to quit procrastinating these posts so they will not be so BIG!
