A few weeks ago we went to Silver Dollar City with my brother and his family and Corey's sister and her family.  Our nephews are close to the same age and really enjoy playing together.  Also, our niece is just 6 months older than Elle so they play good together too.  I think Elle really enjoyed her first trip to Silver Dollar City.

Meeting Baby B!

I'm sooo behind on posting but I want this blog to be something that Elle enjoys looking at when she gets older.  I am determined to keep it up.  Life keeps getting busier and it keeps getting harder to do this but I enjoy making these little posts about what we've been doing with our baby girl.  

In April, we finally had a chance to go and visit my cousin's son, Barrett.  He is such a little cutie.  We all enjoyed the visit and can't wait to do it again soon.  I think Elle did very well with him.  She was gentle and allowed mommy and daddy to give him some attention without getting too upset.

Easter 2012

We had a great Easter!  Elle had a great time hunting for eggs at our neighborhood egg hunt this year.  She did not get that concept last year so it was fun to watch.  There was an AMAZING service at our church and I am still thinking about it 2 weeks later.  Elle got lots of goodies from the Easter Bunny and of course she got a pretty new dress for the occasion.  She was such a good little girl and
modeled for me :)

Elle is getting so big.  I've been looking at her lately in awe and just thinking where has the time gone. I think in this picture she looks like a big girl :(

Birthday

I apologize for not updating our little blog more recently. It is an understatement for me to say that work is really busy right now.  It's that time of year, Annual Review time, that is always so hectic for me but Summer vacation is almost here!!! Whoo hoo!

   Since my last update, I celebrated my 31st birthday. We were able to have an early double birthday celebration with Kara, Corey's sister, in Mountain Home.  Kara's birthday is one week before mine so it's always fun to celebrate together!  We celebrated mine early this year, since Corey was going to be out of town on my actual birthday. :(

On a happy note:  My co-worker, Patti, really made my birthday special this year.  When I got to work this is was what she had done to my desk.

We had a party that day in speech therapy.  The students also signed the white board with their names and sweet messages.  I can't share that picture with everyone but it was so sweet!  It made my day! 

Second happy note..........I have finally joined the 21st century.  Corey got me an iPad for my birthday:

Unfortunately, the next week Elle got really sick.  The sickest she has been so far.  It was absolutely pitiful!  It's the hardest thing for a mom to see her baby sick and not be able to do anything about it :( 

It was rough!!!
