It's been 7 months since I've UPDATED!

I cannot believe that It has been 7 months since I blogged!  I think it has taken me so long to get back into it because this blog has mainly been for our family.  It is just one way that they keep up with our crazy lives.  In May, I lost my mother who enjoyed our little blog very much.  It has been hard for me to write because it is still hard for me to talk about the passing of my mother.  She was such a big part of my life.  She was not only my mother, but my friend.  She was my "go to."  If I needed to hash anything out or if I needed reassurance, she was the first person I called.  I've concluded that she has not felt well for a while.  She just has not been herself lately.  She was diagnosed in February and after 15 radiation treatments and 1 chemo treatment she lost her fight with cancer.  Things will never be the same and I miss her so much but I know I will see her again someday.

God had made his presence known throughout all of this.  I don't know what I would do without him.

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes.  There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."  Revelation 21:4

"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." Romans 8:18

One thing my mother made known, especially after her diagnoses, is that she was proud of me. I will work my hardest to continue to make her proud.  I will try to be the best wife, sister, and mother possible.  I know she will be watching.

With that said I have a lot to catch up on.... Beckham, our 9 month old, is doing great and deserves an update on our little blog.  He is crawling everywhere and very quickly.  He can get from one side of the house to the other without me knowing.  He is standing up while holding on to furniture (or my leg, LOL) and can cruise between furniture.  He loves to clap and wave, he says Mama and Dada a lot!  He likes to play with Derby and can hold his own in "Tug a War."  He loves his new water table and enjoys being outside.  He is such a sweet boy and smiles all the time.  I'm so thankful for him.  He has also been a healer of my heart these past few months!

Now for the fun part.... some of my favorite pictures over the past months!!!
