We celebrated our family's celebration on the eve eve of actual Christmas. We are trying to make our own traditions so we started the day off by eating scones and breakfast casserole. We looked at the cookies that Santa ate, we opened presents, and of course saw what Santa brought us. It was a special time for us.

Then we went to Mimi's to celebrate with the Balentines and Fords. Of course the grandkids were able to open a few presents early. Here she is playing with her Baby Alive "Beauty Salon."

The next day we celebrated Christmas at Papa and Lena'a house and sadly I did not get many pictures of this..... :(
When we finally made it back to Rogers there was snow at our house too! Happy girl!
Mimi watched Elle for us so that we could go to dinner on New Year's Eve. Thanks Mimi!
Then Mimi helped us make an awesome New Year's day meal... with black eyed peas, cornbread, ham and skillet potatoes. Yummo!
Whew... that was a long one. We've been trying to recoup from the holidays... so we've kind of been laying low for a while. I should get my new camera lens this week so I can get back to my picture taking.
