Summer Travel

Since my last post, we've been super busy trying to soak up the rest of the Summer.  We've been on 2 small trips to Tulsa and Kansas City recently and have had lots of fun.

The first trip was initiated when Elle happen to see a Wiggles DVD that belonged to her cousin, Eston.  This was the first show that she had ever showed any interest in watching.  Her favorite song was called...Fruit Salad, Yummy, Yummy.  She has enjoyed watching the Wiggles ever since.  As it turns out, Corey then introduced the Wiggles to our friends the Dewey's daughters, Addie and Marley, and they love them as well.  So, we all decided to go and see them at the BOK Center in Tulsa.  Corey was so sweet because he ordered tickets the first day they were available and got us some really good seats and was able to get us all a hotel downtown!

"We're going to see the Wiggles!"

The Deweys

At first Elle was a little overwhelmed with the show but before long she was dancing in the aisle!

Here is a video of her dancing.

Here are the girls after the show.

Our Kansas City Trip

The following weekend we went to Kansas City to see Corey's grandfather, Papa Herol.  We also did a little shopping and had some good eats. :)  Mimi came along with us for the little get away.  Before we left, Elle got to go to Wonderscope, a children's museum!

Here is Elle with her Great Grandpa!

Corey wanted to get some BBQ while we were in KC.  This place was yummy!

We stayed at the Country Club Plaza.  Houston's restaurant is always one of our favorites!

Cheesing at breakfast!  Yep, we ate good during that trip!

We found a HOG on the Plaza!

At the Supermarket at Wonderscope.

Awesome water table!

Silly girl.

Elle really enjoyed herself and did not want to leave.

Here are few other random pictures from our last weeks of Summer:

She loves the IPAD and I love that I can put her hair in pigtails now!
